On The Radar: Comic Book Coming Attractions 07/10/13

Radar

In this feature I’ll highlight the upcoming comics that I’m looking forward to the most, the ones that are On My Radar:

Daredevil #28
Daredevil #28
Creative Team
Mark Waid and Chris Samnee
Solicitation
“There was one man young Daredevil feared and now Matt Murdock is representing him in court.”
Why I’m Looking Forward To It
What is the story behind this kid? A mystery that is worth pursuing, that’s for sure. I really needn’t say anymore than that. If the solicitation or the image above doesn’t pique your interest, I don’t know what will…

Hawkeye #12
Hawkeye #12
Creative Team
Matt Fraction and Francesco Francavilla
Solicitation
“The sleeper hit of 2012 is now the can’t miss book of 2013 (and probably the overhyped book you’re sick of people talking about in 2014!) Reeling from the events of the last issue, even Hawkeye wants to know what his new status quo is. Who’s with him? Who’s against him? Who’s trying to kill him and why? So many dang questions! And just when Clint’s rock bottom couldn’t arrive fast enough. . . ‘Then Came Barney'”
Why I’m Looking Forward To It
Hawkeye is guaranteed awesomeness with every subsequent issue that sees release but things are not going too well for our hero. With everyone seemingly abandoning him, how will Clint cope? My Number One Marvel series releases another issue so soon after the brilliant “Pizza Dog” one. What did I do to deserve such an honor?

Indestructible Hulk #10
Indestructible Hulk #10
Creative Team
Mark Waid and Matteo Scalera
Solicitation

“‘BLIND RAGE’ PART 2! DAREDEVIL guest-stars! HULK vs. urban crime!”
Why I’m Looking Forward To It
The first part of this epic team-up between Hulk and Daredevil was simply fantastic. I expect more of the same with the second chapter. In Waid I trust!

Justice League #22
Justice League #22
Creative Team
Geoff Johns and Ivan Reis
Solicitation
“‘TRINITY WAR’ begins in this full-length epic!”
Why I’m Looking Forward To It
It’s been teased for quite sometime and now Trinity War is upon us. Big things are expected from this crossover with major ramifications. Why are the three Justice Leagues at each others throats? Who will die? Who is the murderer? It all kicks off here in an event that leads directly into Villains Month. Yeah, I’m intrigued.

Smallville Season 11 #15
Smallville Season 11 #15
Creative Team

Bryan Q. Miller and Daniel HDR
Solicitation
“Krypton’s past, present and future collide in the skies over New Krypton as the clock ticks down to oblivion. Superman, Supergirl, Booster and the Legion battle the unthinkable! “Argo” comes to its explosive conclusion in part 3 of 3.”
Why I’m Looking Forward To It
Booster Gold and Skeets? Check. Legion of Super-Heroes? Check. Supergirl? Check. New Krypton? Check. The return of Doomsday? Check. This issue has it all…and time travel as well. Currently this is my favourite Superman series being released. If you’re a fan of Smallville, a fan of the Man of Steel, or just a fan of quality comics, you owe it to yourself to check this series out.
