In this feature I’ll highlight the upcoming comics that I’m looking forward to the most, the ones that are On My Radar:
Green Lantern #23.4: Sinestro
Creative Team
Matt Kindt and Dale Eaglesham
Solicitation
“Years ago, Sinestro used his Green Lantern ring to utterly dominate his home planet of Korugar, all in the name of “protecting” his people. It’s the mistake that turned his name into a curse, and brought down the greatest Green Lantern of them all . . . but one never-before-seen moment from those dark days holds the key to his future!”
Why I’m Looking Forward To It
Sinestro is simply a great character. A complex bad guy with layer upon layer of rich characterization, Geoff Johns made him even greater than he once was. As issue flashing back to his earlier days while shedding a light on his future is an enticing prospect and I can’t wait to see where one of my favourite characters finds himself next. Maybe that rumored Sinestro Corps ongoing? One can hope…

Justice League #23.4: Secret Society
Creative Team
Geoff Johns and Manuel Garcia
Solicitation
“An army of super villains has been built throughout The New 52 during 2013-but for what purpose? Learn about the villains that have paved the way for the world of FOREVER EVIL.”
Why I’m Looking Forward To It
What is better than a Villains Month issue focusing on one character? A Villains Month issue focusing on more than one! As long as it doesn’t get too crowded, it should be a nice opportunity to shed more light on some villains that couldn’t warrant a standalone issue of their very own.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #26
Creative Team
Tom Waltz and Mateus Santolouco
Solicitation
“While Leonardo and the Foot bring the fight to the Savate ninjas, the other Turtles call upon all of their allies to prepare for War. City Fall continues to escalate when Splinter crosses a line by helping Old Hob get his revenge!”
Why I’m Looking Forward To It
I must sound like a broken record by now. This series is great, Santolouco’s art is fantastic, and the story is captivating. Nothing I haven’t said before, I know. This solicit contains two key points that pique my interest though: the turtles calling on ALL of their allies and Splinter crossing a line. Keep the good times rolling….Cowabunga!

Uncanny Avengers #12
Creative Team
Rick Remender and Salvador Larroca
Solicitation
“The dark origin of the Apocalypse Twins! Kang’s true motives revealed. A secret of pact between Ahab and The Red Skull that will bring horror to all mutants. Bring on the bad guys!”
Why I’m Looking Forward To It
DC has turned the entire month over to the villains and this issue of Uncanny Avengers looks to do the same. From dark origins to true motivations to secret pacts, this issue looks to showcase its own brand of evil while providing a highly entertaining and enthralling read. Bring on the bad guys, indeed!

Wolverine and the X-Men #36
Creative Team
Jason Aaron and Giuseppe Camuncoli
Solicitation
“BATTLE OF THE ATOM PART 5! The end of the first month ends with a huge twist! NO SPOILERS! The fate of the All-New X-Men is decided here!”
Why I’m Looking Forward To It
Marvel promises us “a huge twist.” Yeah, call me gullible, but I for one believe something big is going to happen here that carries us into the second half of the crossover. This should be a good one as we learn the fate of our time displaced young heroes. What is going to happen? I’m eager to discover the answer along with everyone else.

With that said, the final tally stands at DC Comics Villain’s Month (12 Issues), DC Comics Regular (1 Issue), Marvel (7 Issues), and Independent (4 Issues). So that’s my Pull List for the week. What’s yours? What comics are you most looking forward to? Comment below!
I’ll be getting Avengers Assemble, Young Avengers and My Little Pony. I’m undecided on Wolverine and the X-Men. I haven’t liked the series since it began. It’s possible, though, that as part of a X-over, it might be better. Decide on Wednesday, I guess.
Battle of the Atom possibly bringing xmenxpert and Wolverine & the X-Men together? Miracles can happen! 🙂
