Between The Continuity – Week 47: Schedule Changes

tinytitanscontinuity

It’s that time once again, time to modify and tweak the schedule. As those of you who have been following this blog for some time, you know that from time to time I like to tweak and shift around my various features, never being satisfied with one schedule for too long. My aim is always to create a better flow and ensure that my daily postings continue to see release. Without further ado, here’s the new schedule:

Monday: Covers of the Week – I’ll list my top five favourite covers from the week that was (Stays The Same) & The Rankings – I’ll rank my favourite comic series from each company in different categories and list my Top 5 comics from each week (Previous Day: Tuesday)

Tuesday: Retroactive – I’ll take you on a visual comic cover tour of the past. Each week I’ll display all the covers for a single year for two titles with my current focus being on The Flash and Uncanny X-Men. A trip down memory lane is sure to follow (Stays The Same) & #Trending Part 1 – I’ll highlight and offer my opinions on any comic-related news that occurred during the week. This will included any notable news about comic books from DC, Marvel, and the Independents (Previously One Article On Thursdays)

Wednesday: Between The Continuity – I’ll discuss any Blog-related news and highlight the week that was in postings. (Previous Day: Tuesday) & Off The Shelf – I made a vow: every week I’ll pick up an issue for a series that wasn’t on my pull-list in the hopes of finding a hidden gem. Here is where we’ll see if my leap of faith paid dividends as I review my latest find (Stays The Same)

Thursday: #Trending Part 2 – I’ll highlight and offer my opinions on any comic-related news as it pertains to other media including comic-related movies, TV shows, video games, etc. (Stays The Same)

Friday: Retroactive II – I’ll take you on a visual comic cover tour of the past. Each week I’ll display all the covers for a single year for two titles with my current focus being on Detective Comics and Daredevil. A trip down memory lane is sure to follow. (Stays The Same)

Saturday: The Comic Connection (Weeks 1 & 3) – Featuring the Weekly Question, a question I will pose dealing with anything Comic related. Then I turn it over to you and to Twitter to offer any feedback/your opinion on the topic with your answers being featured on next week’s posting. I’ll also share some cool comic-related fan art along giving a shout-out to some favourite comic blog entries and have a social media section involving Twitter (Stays The Same) & NEW FEATURE (Weeks 2 & 4)

Sunday: On The Radar – I’ll highlight the coming Wednesday’s new comics that I’m most looking forward to (Stays The Same)

Interesting points of note is that #Trending will be splitting into two parts – one concerning comic books and the other concerning other comic-related media. I have a little catching up to do on the feature currently so from now until the end of the month you might notice a few special postings to get up-to-date (ie. a DC mega post, Marvel, Movies, etc.) Once caught up, #Trending will settle into these two days starting in December. Also, The Comic Connection will only run two weeks every month with it alternating with a new feature that will be revealed in December as well. Otherwise, that’s about it for scheduling. On the next edition of Between The Continuity I’ll reveal more of my plans for December. Until then…Happy Reading!

  1. Excellent new schedule, like how you have arranged all the features, and think its a good idea how trending will be in two parts to cover comics and media. Will look forward to the new schedule, sounds really good.
