“Justice To The Third Power, Lovable Villains, & The Protection Racket” – The Top 5 & Comic Book Rankings: 12/12/13-12/18/13

Rankings

Welcome all to my Weekly Ranking System! In the first section, I’ll highlight the Top 5 individual issues from this past week that deserve to be picked up, in alphabetical order. Then the second section breaks up all the different series into three groups (DC, Marvel, & Independent). I will include a summary section in each entry to comment on any changes in spots. A reminder, only comics that I purchase are included in the Rankings.

  1. These are the comic books I read in February 2014:

    Green Arrow # 38
    The Punisher # 14
    The Fade Out # 4
    Hawkeye # 20
    Swamp Thing # 29 – 31
    Superman/Wonder Woman # 14 – 15

    Green Arrow # 38 is by far the best read of the month. It is so blatantly superior to all the other comics I listed that I can’t even tell you which one is its runner up.
    February 2015 was awful for me as a blogger: I got 1.751 views, so this has been my worst month since April 2014, when I got 1601 views. I console myself by thinking that my last post has been hugely successful, as it usually happens when I write an Oscar – related post.
    What about you? Was February 2015 a good month for you as a blogger and as a reader?

      Being so far behind I have not had the pleasure of reading it. What put it in a league of its own?

      This month stunk for me as well being my worst month since June of 2014. Hopefully there is a big turnaround for both you and me in March. My fingers are crossed! 🙂

      • “What put it in a league of its own?”
        – A Kingpin – esque villain;
        – A guest star appearance by Katana;
        – A plot which is clever but also easy to follow at the same time;
        – A marvellous fight scene at the beginning of the issue, filled with missiles, explosions and cars flying all over.
        “My fingers are crossed!” Mine too! 🙂 Thank you for your reply! 🙂
