In this feature I’ll highlight the upcoming comics that I’m looking forward to the most, the ones that are On My Radar:
Avengers #24
Creative Team
Jonathan Hickman and Esad Ribic
Solicitation
“‘ROGUE PLANET’ Part 1 of 5. Captain America and Iron Man plan for the next version of the Avengers. A runaway planet is on a collision course with Earth. A visitor from the future helps save the day. Avengers #24.NOW = Avengers #1 IN ALL-NEW MARVEL NOW! ”
Why I’m Looking Forward To It
The next version of the Avengers? A runaway planet? A time traveler? This series looks to continue the momentum it built from the Infinity event and it aims to please us with some highly entertaining concepts. Regardless of what unfolds, this issue will involve time travel and you all know how much of a sucker I am for anything involving time travel.

Doctor Who Special 2013 #1
Creative Team
Paul Cornell and Jimmy Braxton
Solicitation
“In this special one-shot story celebrating the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who, a strange force flings the TARDIS and the Doctor into our own universe! Once here, the Doctor encounters a 10-year-old girl who happens to be a huge fan of the Doctor Who TV show. The Doctor grapples with being a fictional character and monsters lurking at the girl’s school on the way to coming face-to-face with the actor who portrays him, Matt Smith!”
Why I’m Looking Forward To It
The release of this issue brings a lot of finality with it. It comes out on the same day that the 11th Doctor makes his last appearance on TV and it is the final Doctor Who comic that IDW is going to publish. The high concept of this grand finale is the perfect way to bring finality to the Matt Smith era and with Paul Cornell as the writer we are guaranteed one witty and fantastic conclusion.

Forever Evil #4
Creative Team
Geoff Johns and David Finch
Solicitation
“It’s all-out chaos as the DC Universe continues its march through darkness! War erupts across the Earth between the villains! Allegiances are formed! Rivals are murdered! And at center stage it’s Lex Luthor versus Batman-and their fight couldn’t come at a worse time as Deathstroke’s Hunting Party closes in on the world’s only hope against the Crime Syndicate!”
Why I’m Looking Forward To It
Luthor VS Batman. That fight seems to be the centrepiece of this fourth issue that I only hope kicks this storyline into the next gear. While I admit that I love any issue that is villain-centric I’m eagerly awaiting the moment that this ragtag bunch of baddies unite to take on the Crime Syndicate. Is this the last pit stop before that actually happens? Here’s hoping!

Doctor Who Special 2013 #1
Farewell Doctor Who. A sad moment indeed but at least it is going to go out with a bang.

With that said, the final tally stands at DC Comics (2 Issues), Marvel (1 Issue), and Independent (1 Issue). So that’s my Pull List for the week. What’s yours? What comics are you most looking forward to? Comment below!
I got absolutely nothing next week. Which is lucky, considering this week cost me $40.
This month has been killer. Basically it works out to 5 weeks of comics in 4 weeks. Crazy!
Forever Evil #4 was such a let down for me. The Luthor vs. Batman was less than what was presented. Argh.
Much, much less. But I enjoyed the dynamics between the various villains in Lex’s group especially that scene between Bizarro and him.
