In this feature I’ll highlight the upcoming comics that I’m looking forward to the most, the ones that are On My Radar:

“‘The Trial of Jean Grey’ The arrival of the original X-Men in the present sent shockwaves through the Marvel Universe, but we’ve only seen the effects on Earth. When alien races learn that Jean Grey, host of the destructive Phoenix Force, is back on earth, they do something about it. Now it’s up to the rest of the All-New X-Men and the Guardians of the Galaxy to save Jean Grey from twisted intergalactic justice! Don’t miss two of Marvel’s biggest franchises crossing over for the first time!”
Why I’m Looking Forward To It
The crossover between Bendis’ All-New X-Men and Bendis’ Guardians of the Galaxy starts here. The premise has me excited and I for one can’t wait for this interstellar trial to begin.

Atomic Robo and the Savage Sword of Dr. Dinosaur #5

Brian Clevinger and Scott Wegener
Solicitation

“The crisis in Hollow Earth comes to a cataclysmic end. Back on the surface, the Majestic 12 invasion of Tesladyne Island is a complete success. Hey, at least things can’t get any worse. Right? Wrong. Get ready for the most mind blowing and world changing installment of Atomic Robo ever.”
Why I’m Looking Forward To It
If you discuss Atomic Robo and the word awesome is not used then you are doing something wrong. This final issue of the latest mini looks to brings us more Dr. Dinosaur hilarity along with a big status quo shift. Going out with a bang indeed!

FF #16
FF #16

“FINAL ISSUE! – ‘For All We Have And Are’. The final showdown. The last FF member standing, Scott Lang goes up against Dr. Doom alone — and everyone knows the Ant can’t. The smackdown of the century. Plus an extra ten page bonus of F4/FF goodness co-written by Karl Kesel and the Allreds.”
Why I’m Looking Forward To It
The last issue of this simply fantastic series is sadly here. While the showdown between Doom and Lang should be epic what I’m really looking forward to is the aftermath. I’m going to miss each and every one of these characters in this book and hope that they are not pushed to the wayside with the Fantastic Four relaunch. Where is my All-New FF book Marvel? Don’t deprive me of this awesome bunch of kids and this amazing substitute Fantastic Four!

Harley Quinn #2

“Harley and guest star Poison Ivy set out to rescue a bunch of cute puppies and kitties! What could possibly go wrong?”
Why I’m Looking Forward To It
BFFs? Puppies? And Kittens? Oh my!

Hawkeye #16

“The adventures of Lady Hawkguy out west continue as Kate helps a reclusive and Sixties-damaged pop music genius find his lost masterpiece. Madame Masque, meanwhile, finds HER. By which we mean starts trying to kill her again. Also the cat needs cat food and there’s none to be found. What’s THAT about? Hey not for nothin’ but you guys gotta try these Cronuts!”
Why I’m Looking Forward To It
It has been far too long since we last got an issue of Hawkeye, November to be more specific. The real odd part is that this is Issue #16 when the previous one was #14. Add that to the fact that #15 is coming out next month and we get one confusing situation. Putting aside that confusion though we know with 100% certainty that we are in for a real treat here. Hopefully the series gets back on track with its releases though…

  1. I’m really looking forward to All New X-Men #22 and this crossover with the Guardians of the Galaxy. How will all the alien races react when they lean that Jean Grey, host of the Phoenix, has returned and is on Earth? This sound brilliant and it’ll be fun to see the Original X-Men on a space adventure as well!

  2. I’m actually a little annoyed. My pull list will include All-New X-Factor, All-New X-Men, Iron Man, Marvel Knights: X-Men, Mighty Avengers, X-Men, My Little Pony AND Pretty Deadly. That’s 8 comics in one week. Marvel needs to do a better job of staggering their comics.
