Welcome to Around The Web! It’s premise is to highlight various comic book related content including the very best Tweets, links to interesting trailers/videos, and everything in between. It is a feature that will evolve and grow over time so consider this Version 1.0. With that said, let’s take a look at the very best of the week that was:

Guardians of the Galaxy: First Official Trailer
The wait was well worth it as what we got was a trailer that was humorous, informative, and epic. It was the right blend of teases while not giving away the entire film in the process. It was quite an opening salvo for Marvel’s biggest risk to date!

In Italy there was a hugely talented band, called Banco del Mutuo Soccorso. They stopped publishing new tracks in 1997, so probably many young people never heard of them.
I hadn’t known them too, until one day I heard a wonderful song at the radio. I wrote down some words of that song on a piece of paper and, when I came back home, I typed those words on Google hoping to get to know the title of the song.
Luckily I found what I was looking for, and since then I’ve been listening to that song quite frequently.
Two days ago the singer of the band died in a car accident. My way to honour him is making you listen the song that made me understand how talented he was: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FwLcsXmQCp8. Even if you can’t understand the text, I hope you’ll appreciate its wonderful melody.

I didn’t understand a single word but it definitely had me swaying back and forth in my chair. Thanks for sharing the song and your personal story. Such a shame that a man so talented was taken from us due to a car crash…
