It is a feature that will evolve and grow over time so consider this Version 1.0. With that said, let’s take a look at the very best of the week that was:

Sin City: A Dame To Kill For Official Trailer #1
I never saw the first Sin City but I have to admit that this trailer caught my attention. I love the visual aesthetic, the music, and taking a look at that cast roll call at the end, I think this may be a movie worth my time. Maybe I should see the first one?

Infinite Crisis – What Do You Fight For?
Such an epic trailer! It went a long way in securing my interest which I call nothing short of a success since I’m not a fan of MMO/MOBA games. And it’s free so you can’t go wrong.

Bat Romance: Batman Original Music Video
A Lady Gaga music parody starring Batman, Poison Ivy, Catwoman, and a great live-action portrayal of Harley Quinn. Fun for what its worth and I’ve got the catchy tune stuck in my head.

“I never saw the first Sin City but I have to admit that this trailer caught my attention. The first Sin City is awesome! I’m sure you won’t be disappointed, if you give it a try. : )
You’ve convinced me. Definitely have to see it before the sequel comes out.
On a side note: have you ever read the comic? I haven’t but if you have, how would you say it compares to the original source material?
I read all the 3 graphic novels on which Sin City is based, and I can tell you that the movie is very, very faithful to the original source material.
Speaking of movies, on the 3rd of March I published a post about the Oscars 2014. That day became the one with most visits ever for my blog (199), and last week was the most popular week ever as well (555 visits). I think that a big part of these records is due to the fact that an italian movie won an Oscar this year, so probably any post concerning that topic got a lot of visits. I tried to watch The Great Beauty, but it was so bad that I decided to drop it after a few minutes.
How about you? Did you see any of the awarded movies?

Good to know.

I think you nailed it with your theory.
“I tried to watch The Great Beauty, but it was so bad that I decided to drop it after a few minutes.”
And yet it won the Oscar? Why did you find it so bad?
“Did you see any of the awarded movies?”
The only movie I saw that actually won something was Frozen. 🙂
“Why did you find it so bad?” That movie hasn’t a real story. It’s just a bunch of scenes completely unrelated to each other – and most of them are boring or even disturbing.
“The only movie I saw that actually won something was Frozen.” Among the awarded movies, I watched only The Great Gatsby and Dallas Buyers Club. They are completely different, but both of them are high quality movies. I do suggest you to watch them.

And yet it won the Oscar? Hmmm…..
I’ll probably end up watching Gatsby and Gravity one of these days. Dallas Buyers Club, while I have heard is a well-acted movie, just doesn’t grab me as a concept.
I loved the first Sin City, it’s worth watching. Just a heads up its ultra violent. The Bat Romance video is pretty fun, “the end villain” cracked me up.
Good to know about Sin City. That “end villain” for Bat Romance was definitely unexpected. 🙂 Sequel anyone?
