  1. There are a lot of reasons why Elektra # 7 wins my gold medal hands down:
    1) I like Elektra;
    2) I like both Bullseye and Lady Bullseye;
    3) I’m fascinated by the Mardi Gras (even if I’ve never participated to these festivities);
    4) I love covers that are full of details and bright colours;
    5) A lot of books I appreciated and one of the best comics I’ve read in 2014 (http://www.dccomics.com/graphic-novels/cinder-and-ashe) are set in Louisiana, so I’m quite fond of this setting.
    Special mention for Death of Wolverine: Deadpool & Captain America #1, because it’s a classic action packed cover, and I also love the gorgeous tones of blue and red used for the background.
    Bronze medal for Marvel 75th Anniversary Celebration #1, because I love 4th wall breaking covers and it is also a very beautiful image from an aesthetic point of view.

      That image of an elderly Steve Roger, riding on the back of Deadpool as he swats ninjas with his cane is fantastic. 🙂

      All in all, my Top 3 was quite challenging with each one possessing the necessary awesomeness to have captured the first place prize any other week. That they all came out at once was quite a sight to behold.

      Thanks for sharing your Rankings!
