With this special edition I plan on taking those winners and determining the very best of each decade. Below you’ll find the various links to each decade. 60s: Daredevil # 51 (April 1969)
70s: tie between Daredevil # 99 (May 1973) and Daredevil # 124 (August 1975)
80s: Daredevil # 227 (February 1986)
90s: Daredevil Vol. 2 # 9 (December 1999)
00s: Daredevil Vol. 2 # 52 (November 2003)
10s: tie between Daredevil Vol. 3 # 26 (July 2013) and Daredevil Vol. 4 # 3 (July 2014)
The 90s were the decade that made my choice most difficult, because there were three other covers that could have won the overall gold medal:
– the cover you chose;
– Daredevil # 335 (December 1994);
– Daredevil # 351 (April 1996).
At the end I decided to pick Daredevil Vol. 2 # 9, because it’s the first Daredevil issue I’ve ever read. Sentimentality wins out! 🙂
I know how difficult that must have been for you to narrow down all these fantastic covers to just eight and I thank you for that.
