Fantastic Four trailer hits!

Following a costume reveal,

the debut trailer for the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot has arrived. Check it out in all its glory below:

It’s pretty clear there’s a much darker, contemporary tone here. It seems a little like Interstellar with superpowers to me.

Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon are our new Ghostbusters for the upcoming remake of the 1984 classic. The movie is said to be of a scarier tone that won’t be following any continuity from the original. The film is set to be out on July 22, 2016.

When I first saw the movie as a kid, I fell in love with it immediately. Pretty psyched for this, even though it will have nothing to do with the originals. My only issue is wondering if a scarier tone will detract from the comedy.

  1. You know, I feel strangely ambivalent about the new Ghostbusters. It’s good they’re making a major blockbuster-grade film with an all-women lead cast, sure, but I also feel like I enjoyed Ghostbusters enough thirty years ago I don’t much care whether I do it again.

    • I would have rather seen them do a mixed cast with maybe two male, two female. I’m not a big fan of the actresses cast either especially Melissa McCarthy. Her brand of humor does nothing for me…
