Well, February is officially over and it is that time once again to look back at the month that was. As expected, February was a pretty lousy month in terms of views, just barely beating last February but losing to 2013’s totals. This has been my worst month since June of 2014, something I want to turn around with this month. I’m hoping a more stable release schedule mixed with the return of Retroactive will help in that regards. Looking back, my Top 12 articles for the month in terms of total views were as follows:
#1: Retroactive One-Shot: iZombie (The Complete Series)
#2: The Character Spotlight – Issue #6: Star-Lord (Peter Quill)
#3: The Vanier Report: Tales From A DC Pull List (Discussing DC’s New 24)
#4: wwayne Presents – Retroactive: Gotham Central 2005 & Generation X 1996
#5: The Comic-Verse: Awesome Art & The Top 15 Featured Links (01/29/15-02/04/15)
#6: The Vanier Report: Tales From A DC Pull List (The Multiversity: Mastermen #1 Review)
#7: The Vanier Report: Tales From A DC Pull List (New Suicide Squad #7 Review)
#8: The Comic-Verse: Awesome Art & The Top 15 Featured Links (02/12/15-02/18/15)
#9: Retroactive: Nightwing 2002 & Fantastic Four 1963
#10: The Vanier Report: Tales From A DC Pull List (Swamp Thing #39 Review)
#11: Retroactive: The Flash 2005 & Uncanny X-Men 2012
#12: The Comic Connection Vol. 3: Issue #3 (Fixing The Green Lantern Movie)
Of the Top 12 I’m most pleased that the Top 2 were actually long since written features with the ever so reliable Character Spotlight of Star-Lord rearing its head yet again. The Vanier Report has continued to pay dividends coming in with 4 spots including 3rd overall while wwayne’s Retroactive continues to prove as popular as ever. In other areas my Top 5 referrers were WordPress Reader, Twitter, Reddit, Modern Mythologies, and The Old Reader. Finally, My Top 5 Search Terms were “star lord”, “black widow cosplay”, “black canary in rape”, “marvel-drax”, and “1978 spiderman comics.” And that is February in summation!
In other news, I’m very happy to announce that healed1337 has generously offered his time and crafted a superb special edition of the Character Spotlight to pay tribute to She-Hulk whose fantastic series just recently wrapped up. Look for that later on this week. Speaking of later on in the week, look for a new Retroactive from wwayne, a new edition of the Comic Connection, and Retroactives for Nightwing/Fantastic Four and TMNT/Hellboy. You may have also noticed on this week’s On The Radar feature that I included Reid Vanier’s Top Pick. I thought it was only natural as it informs everyone ahead of time which comic he will be reviewing later on. As you can see, lots is happening and much more will be occurring as the month progresses. Stay tuned!

On that note, this week’s offering of Between The Continuity has reached its end. I hope everyone has an excellent week and manages to read some great stuff. Until next time, I leave you with three words that sum up this blog and life in general:
Black Canary in rape? Who searches these things?
