Between The Continuity – Marvelous Times Ahead

Icon

A mere nine days in and March is already looking up on the Speech Bubble. We’ve had some fantastic guest features already with more to come. Speaking of the Speech Bubble team, I aim to add a page on the main bar to give a rundown of everyone involved so far including links to their respective blogs. I also plan to do another blitz of promotion to see if we can add any more to the Speech Bubble’s growing collective. wwayne covers our nostalgia with his edition of Retroactive, Reid and his Vanier Report captures that DC audience with his amazing reviews, and Sam delivers us all the hot news each and every week in #Trending. I’m still on the look-out for more comic reviews, especially people who would like to write about some Marvel series to form the perfect one-two punch with Reid. I’m also open to any other suggestions you may have. Just send me an email at gothamrogue@yahoo.com.

While still on the subject of guest features, this past week saw healed1337’s wonderful Character Spotlight on She-Hulk. I’ve always said that Character Spotlight features are the most beneficial to this blog, continuously getting views months down the road. If only I had more time to devote to properly writing them, I would be cranking those features out. healed1337 inspired me though. He included quite a few awesome pictures to go with his Spotlight which got me thinking. I’ve decided to create two new features. The first one will showcase some of my favourite art for one character from DC, Marvel, and beyond. Unlike my Comic-Verse offering, this new feature will not be limited to DeviantArt drawings and will include published comics as well. The name of said feature is still up for debate. My second new feature will be showcasing some awesome cosplay each and every week. For the foreseeable future, I’ll be showcasing new cosplay images along with re-presenting some others I posted in the past in various other older features. Its name is also undetermined. Look for those to debut later this week!
