Greetings all! Lots of exciting content coming your way this week. The next edition of wwayne’s Retroactives is imminent, my thoughts on this year’s Fan Expo Vancouver should be arriving around Friday, and a new temporary feature is fast approaching.
As those that buy DC Comics are aware, these next two months see the entire line of comics being put on hold and replaced by their Convergence event. What I’m going to do is post a new feature called the Convergence Countdown whereupon I will rank the various titles for each week, doing a quick comment here and there, and generally letting you know which ones I enjoyed and which ones you can skip.
Another big thing I want to do in the next week is finish replying to all my backlog of comments and get everything on track for the return of my Retroactives. In other news, I’m about halfway through the Netflix Daredevil series and am really enjoying it. It has blown away my expectations and the fight scenes are amazing. You have to check out this scene from the second episode which was done in one continuous shot:

The Speech Bubble 
That hallway fight scene is awesome, I had to rewatch it as soon as the episode ended. I like how the camera stays in the hallways even when the fights goes inside a room. I’m about half way through the season so far.
All the fight scenes were pretty epic. So happy that Season 2 is coming out next year! Bring on more Daredevil!

I just finished it two days ago. Brilliant indeed. I’m really happy they announced a Season 2 already. Bullseye? Elektra? The Owl? I can’t wait!
Daredevil was brilliant, really enjoyed the series. So glad it will get a 2nd season as well. Excellent cast and storyline, loved it!
