So my big plans for last week didn’t come to fruition. It seems that there is never enough time in the day with a pesky, yet necessary, job always getting in the way. Hopefully this week goes smoother and I’m able to unleash my FanExpo post, debut the Covergence Countdown, and catch up on my comments. Knowing me, I’m probably going to accomplish only two out of three but I’ll be happy if I can do that all the same.
In other news, wow there were sure a lot of trailers that hit us this past week, trailers which you can find in one handy place with Sam’s #Trending feature. The major comic-related ones were Batman V Superman, Fantastic Four, and Ant-Man. Of the three, the one I enjoyed the most was hands down Ant-Man. It was a big improvement over the first trailer and gave us some humor and some excellent action. I especially loved that final scene with the train which has me crack-up every time I see it. Another trailer that was a big improvement over the first was the second Fantastic Four one. Despite this, I still have a feeling that this movie could end up being below-par. On one hand I hope I’m wrong but on the other I’d love to see it bomb and see the rights revert to Marvel. Lastly, was Batman V Superman. It was an alright trailer but I also get an uneasiness here. I’m hoping that the movie as a whole is not a dreary, serious film. What Daredevil in particular did was balance the serious and sprinkle some humor throughout. I’m hoping the movie goes in this direction and isn’t similar to Man of Steel in tone.
So those are my thoughts, how about everyone else?

I’m toying with the idea of freshening up Between The Continuity’s look next week. Stay tuned!

On that note, this week’s offering of Between The Continuity has reached its end. I hope everyone has an excellent week and manages to read some great stuff. Until next time, I leave you with three words that sum up this blog and life in general:
I really enjoyed the Ant Man trailer as well, it looks a lot of fun. Batman V Superman also looks really good, especially the glimpses of Batman and the Batmobile. Fantastic Four actually looked a lot better than I thought it would, fingers crossed we finally get a good FF film.
