Each week, countless titles see release from all the various comic companies out there. Some will be good, some will be bad, and some will be downright excellent. Of course, we don’t know which will be which but what we do know is which are our most anticipated. With that said, it is time once again to highlight the upcoming comics that I’m looking forward to the most, the ones that are On My Radar:

A-Force #1
Creative Team
C. Willow Wilson and Jorge Molina
Solicitation
“Marvel’s Mightiest Women finally get their own explosive series! In a secluded corner of the Battleworld, an island nation is fiercely protected by a team of Avengers the likes of which has only ever been glimpsed before… Fighting to protect the small sliver of their world that’s left, the Amazing A-FORCE stands shoulder-to-shoulder, ready to take on the horde! ”
Why I’m Looking Forward To It
An all-female Avengers squad? A book written by the same person who gives us the awesome Ms. Marvel series? The very talented Jorge Molina as the artist? She-Hulk as team leader? What more could I possibly ask for? Nothing, the answer is nothing!

Daredevil #15.1
Creative Team
Mark Waid, Chris Samnee, Mark Guggenheim, and Peter Krause
Solicitation
“The life and times of Daredevil. 50 years in the making!”
Why I’m Looking Forward To It
As Waid and Samnee’s epic run continues to race towards its conclusion we get what is sure to be an amazing issue as we flashback to Daredevil’s early days. From the epic cover to the men involved with the creative aspect, this issue has all the makings to be something special.

Deadpool’s Secret Secret Wars #1
Creative Team
Cullen Bunn and Matteo Lolli
Solicitation
“NOT A SECRET WARS TIE-IN! Well…it is…but not THAT Secret Wars. Remember the original Secret Wars from 1984? And remember how Deadpool played a huge important role in it? Wait…you DON’T? Then you need to read this series immediately and be educated! From the team that brought you DEADPOOL KILLUSTRATED comes the most Secretest War of all! Plus: a bonus Deadpool Contest of Champions tale! ”
Why I’m Looking Forward To It
Only Deadpool would utilize his Secret Wars mini to flashback to the original Secret Wars in what will most assuredly be a hilarious and off-kilter affair. Did you expect anything less from the Merc With A Mouth?

Hexed #10
Creative Team
Michael Alan Nelson and Dan Mora
Solicitation
“Just as Lucifer went through her transformation into The Thief, this special flashback issue takes a look at how the Harlot went from being human to becoming the Keeper of Secrets.”
Why I’m Looking Forward To It
The Harlot has always been a rather mysterious and chilling character ever since we were introduced to her in the first volume of Hexed. Now all her secrets stand revealed as we look back at how she came to be. For a fan of Hexed this is a big deal, for those that have never tried an issue, you owe it to yourselves to give it a shot.

Spider-Verse #1
Creative Team
Mike Costa and Andre Arujo
Solicitation
“Spinning out of the SPIDER-VERSE event, a team of Spiders finds themselves face-to-face with Battleworld! Starring SPIDER-GWEN, SPIDER-MAN NOIR, SPIDER-MAN: INDIA, MAYDAY PARKER, SPIDER-UK and SPIDER-HAM!”
Why I’m Looking Forward To It
The spiritual sequel to Spider-Verse is here already? Strange enough, that is true. Seeing everyone interact with one another again so soon is a pleasant surprise so I’m not going to complain.

Reid Vanier’s Top Pick
Convergence: Wonder Woman #2
Creative Team
Written by Larry Hama; Art by Matt Banning and Aaron Lopresti.
Solicitation
“STARRING HEROES FROM CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS! Diana Prince gets blood on her jumpsuit as she takes on vampire versions of The Joker and the rest of the Red Rain ghouls!“
Why He Is Looking Forward To It
In the midst of an event mired in nostalgia, Larry Hama’s Wonder Woman tie-in is one of the few books that feels like something new. As the dome falls and the vampires of the Red Rain universe invade, we see Diana pitted against a force as primal and visceral as herself. What I liked about the first issue of Convergence: Wonder Woman was how the story did not shy away from the gruesome darkness of Red Rain. And with her about to square off against the Joker – a character who is terror and chaos and brutality incarnate, even before becoming a vampire – the final issue of the tie-in looks to put to the test Diana’s role as a bringer of peace and a warrior of love.

With that said, the final tally stands at DC Comics (11 Issues), Marvel (8 Issues), and Independent (4 Issues). So that’s my Pull List for the week. What’s yours? What comics are you most looking forward to? Comment below!
A-Force, Loki, My Little Pony and Uncanny X-Men.
A-Force! My most anticipated Secret Wars tie-in. 🙂
I don’t know what’s with this month, maybe it’s a combination of a bunch of Marvel titles ending and Convergance, or some comics being delayed, but I have my 3rd small week in a row. I’m picking up Vampirella 12, A-Force 1, Guardians of the Galaxy 27, Uncanny X-Men 34 and Wolverines 19 for sure, and maybe Secret Wars Battleworld 1 and Deadpool’s Secret Secret Wars 1. I’m most looking forward to Wolverines and A-Force. A-Force for obvious reasons, and Wolverines because it’s the penultimate issue.
A-Force should be nothing short of awesome. It was between it and Hexed for my most anticipated title of the week for sure. I’m still unsure of just how many Secret Wars tie-ins I’m going to end up getting. There are the for sure ones, the iffy ones, and the no chance I’m picking that series up ones.
Have an awesome new comic book day and thanks for sharing!
