Celebrating the Joker’s 75th anniversary, David Ayer tweeted out the first look at Jared Leto as the Joker in the upcoming Suicide Squad. Whilst it has clearly drawn inspiration from the comics, it certainly is quite different to the Jokers we are accustomed to. On a related note, Common has joined the already huge cast in an unnamed role, some are speculating to be Black Manta.
1) More Daredevil: Opening to mass acclaim, Daredevil has officially been given a second season. Steven DeKnight has stepped down however, allowing Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez to replace him as the showrunners. Charlie Cox has made some wishes for the direction he hopes the show to go, naming characters like Punisher, Elektra, Bullseye and even Black Widow, to show up.
3) TMNT Vehicles: Michael Bay has released some images showing off the new rides to appear in the TMNT sequel (wonder what they transform into). Tyler Perry has also joined the cast as Baxter Stockman.
4) Arkham Knight teasers: Rocksteady put out some teaser trailers in anticipation for the full trailer reveal today. They feature characters from the previous games (Catwoman, Azarel) and now Nightwing has joined the series. Without further ado, here’s the full trailer:
5) Scribe for Wolverine: Reports say that Michael Green has been penned in to write the script for the third Wolverine movie. Official details for the plot have yet to be revealed, although there is speculation of a Professor X/Wolverine team up.
