It is time once again to highlight the upcoming comics that I’m looking forward to the most, the ones that are On My Radar:
Black Widow #9/Punisher #9
Creative Team
Nathan Edmondson and Phil Noto / Nathan Edmondson and Mitch Gerads
Solicitation
“‘FRIEND FROM FOE.’ In the pursuit of XAOC, Black Widow finds THE PUNISHER! And they are trapped on an abandoned oil tanker rigged to explode with CROSSBONES and his SKULL SQUAD!/In the middle of the Pacific, THE PUNISHER finds himself fighting alongside–or against?–BLACK WIDOW for access to a deadly criminal network. But the clock is ticking. Will Frank and Natasha be able to complete their mission before they are taken down by their enemies…or each other?”
Why I’m Looking Forward To It
A crossover between Black Widow and Punisher seems like a match made in heaven. Having said crossover happen in the exact same week is simply a bonus and seeing these two characters interact with one another should equate to something quite epic indeed.

Moon Knight #6
Creative Team
Warren Ellis and Declan Shalvey
Solicitation
“A threat from the first issue is back to cause problems for Moon Knight! This mysterious person is the new BLACK SPECTRE and it doesn’t mean anything good for the protector of night travelers. Don’t miss the conclusion of Warren Ellis, Declan Shalvey and Jordie Bellaire. ”
Why I’m Looking Forward To It
It is the end of an era! Okay, maybe calling it an era after only six issues is a little much but still that doesn’t mitigate the fantastic work Ellis and Shalvey did here. With this being their last issue I expect them to pull out all the stops. I certainly wouldn’t want to be the one following these guys…

Rocket Raccoon #2
Creative Team
Skottie Young
Solicitation
“FRAMED. The most notorious Raccoon in the galaxy has been arrested and falsely accused of murder! The real killer? An imposter procyon that seems to be one step ahead of Rocket at every turn. Now, it’s up to Rocket and a certain someone from Planet X to find the truth!”
Why I’m Looking Forward To It
The first issue was awesome! Awesome art, awesome characterizations, awesome story, and awesome humorous moments. Awesome, awesome, awesome. It is because of said awesomeness that I expect this issue to be just as if not even more awesome!

Superior Foes of Spider-Man #14
Creative Team
Nick Spencer and Steve Lieber
Solicitation
“A year of duplicity and double crossing leads to this – who will live, who will die, who will get the head of Silvermane? Spencer and Lieber bring this rollicking tail of evil to it’s penultimate hour!”
Why I’m Looking Forward To It
This comic is my #1 series that Marvel is producing today so it comes as no surprise that it is one of the Top 5 comics I am looking forward to this week. Comedy, action, thrills! These lovable C-List villains are too good to pass up. As this series sadly marches to its inevitable cancellation, I’ll enjoy every moment I get. Maybe if more people bought this series I wouldn’t have to be in a constant state of worry. Come on people, buy it!

Superior Spider-Man #32
Creative Team
Dan Slott and Adam Kubert
Solicitation
“SUPERIOR SPIDER-MAN KICKS OFF THE EDGE OF SPIDER-VERSE! Extra-sized monumental issue, including a story drawn by living legend ADAM KUBERT (ORIGIN 2, AVX)! How is the Superior Spider-Man still around? Where is he? What is he doing? The road to SPIDER-VERSE STARTS HERE!”
Why I’m Looking Forward To It
The Superior Spider-Man is back…for two issues. Regardless, I loved Spider-Ock and getting more of the character is a welcome sight. I’m just crossing my fingers that Marvel finds some kind of loophole to bring him back.

With that said, the final tally stands at DC Comics (9 Issues), Marvel (10 Issues), and Independent (3 Issues). So that’s my Pull List for the week. What’s yours? What comics are you most looking forward to? Comment below!
New Warriors, Rocket Raccoon, She-Hulk. Another light week for me. So there’s probably a brutal one coming up soon.
I am sure you are right. They do love to bunch the X-titles together. 🙂
Really looking forward to Earth 2 #26 & seeing Val Zod vs the Evil Superman, should be an epic showdown! Moon Knight #6 will be another must buy for me, really enjoyed this series, Ellis and Shalvey have don brilliant work on this title, shame they are leaving so soon. Batman Eternal should be good, with all the spooky happening at Arkham, and Action Comics #34 looks great as well! Have a fun new comic book day 😀
Earth 2 just missed making the cut. I too am excited for the confrontation and the apparent arrival of Supergirl if the cover can be believed.
This issue of Earth 2 looks very exciting, its been building up to this epic showdown between Val and Superman for a while now, and that cover certainly hints that a familiar face will soon be arriving on Earth 2 😀
