Still not enough? Here’s a look at the second season of Star Wars Rebels then!
Want more!? Marvel has announced a new comic focusing on Lando Calrissian. The series will look at Lando’s days before he joined the Rebels with his sidekick Lobot beside him. Charles Soule is set to write, with the art by Alex Maleev. Here’s a look at the first cover.
The first full trailer for the MCUs newest addition, Ant-Man. Showing off some cool action and cheeky quips, the film is looking very promising. PS. That last scene really got me!
Fox has revealed a brand new trailer for the upcoming Fantastic Four, giving us a better a new look at the superpowers as well as a more action packed feel to it all. It has definately improved my initial impression towards the film.
Bruce Timm has returned with a new DC animated film to be released July 28. The new series follows the League in: “Journey to a divergent reality where the Justice League protects the planet — but answers to no one but themselves. Employing methods of intimidation and fear, this Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman deal brute force in the name of justice. In this alternate universe, Superman was not raised by the Kents in Smallville, the Caped Crusader is not Bruce Wayne, and Wonder Woman is not an Amazon warrior of Themyscira. When a group of famed scientists experience untimely ‘accidents,’ a government task force follows the trail of clues to the Justice League — but is there a more powerful player operating from the shadows? It’s a high stakes game of intrigue, mystery and action that asks the question: How do you serve justice to those above the law?”
1)Guiness World Record for Most People Dressed as DC Heroes!: Warner Bros. and DC have set a new World Record for the most amount of people dressed up as DC superheroes at once. Kicking off in Australia and finishing up in Los Angeles, the event brought together thousands of fans all around the globe as they celebrated their love for their favourite DC characters.
2)Change of Director: Michelle MacLaren has left Wonder Woman, over ‘creative differences’, leaving the spot for Patty Jenkins to step in. There has been no official word of the details of MacLaren’s departure, however rumour has it that the studio was pushing for a more character driven story rather than the action epic that MacLaren had in mind. On the side of that, Scott Eastwood, has apparently been cast as Steve Trevor and is set to appear in both Wonder Woman and Suicide Squad.
3) Behind the Scenes of Deadpool: Footage from the filming of Deadpool has been put online, showing stunts from the upcoming movie. Also, check out this stunt guy’s sick moves.
4) First Look at Tennant and Colter in A.K.A Jessica Jones: Are we recovering well from how great Daredevil was? Take a look at David Tennant and Mike Colter as the Purple Man and Luke Cage respectively in the next upcoming Marvel/Netflix series. Check them out HERE.
5) Cooper lands Preacher role: Following up from last week, Dominic Cooper is now officially onboard as Jesse Custer in AMCs adaptation of Preacher. Joining him will also be Elizabeth Perkins, playing Vyla Quinncannon.
6) Another addition to the Apocalypse cast: Week after week, new actors have been joining the ever expanding cast of X-Men: Apocaplypse. This week, Olivia Munn has been announced to play Psylocke.
7) A Series Regular Not Returning for New Season: WARNING SPOILERS IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE LATEST EPISODE OF ARROW ‘BROKEN ARROW’! If you have, you would know Roy Harper has been written off the show, with Colton Hayne’s contract ending at the end of this season. There is however still potential for the character to return, perhaps even joining the planned spin off.
Looking back at how much Disney paid for Marvel and Star Wars and I can’t help but think what a bargain. The money train will keep chugging along for sure! 🙂
We have opposite ends of a Spectrum here..one is the Star Wars trailer which is a showcase in “How to” when it comes to making a trailer for a movie and making people anxious to see it.
On the other side of the coin the Batman vs Superman trailer leaves you feeling dirty, empty and wanting none of it. The dark..hum drum approach is NOT an effective strategy in movie trailers. Of course ill be sitting in the theater the day it comes out..just with a sour taste in my mouth.
I’m with you in regards to the Batman V Superman trailer. Upon the first viewing, I was left with no feeling of excitement to see this movie. Like you, I’ll be their opening week, but Snyder has a long way to go to restore the trust he lost with Man of Steel. I want a little levity to break up the drama and if the entire DC slate goes all doom and gloom I will not be a happy camper.
Reblogged this on SuperTeamAU.
Certainly been a big week for trailers! Really enjoyed them all, especially Star Wars, so much exciting stuff to look forward to!
What has been a rather lackluster start to 2015 is about to kick it up to another level starting with Avengers: Age of Ultron. Let movie season begin!
Yep, I agree, think we are in for a great summer of movies! Avengers Assemble!!
Almost too many big movies coming out this year. One thing’s for sure though, DIsney is going to make a profit.
